A perfect match: car park ventilation fans in any RAL colour

When designing a modern car park, multiple disciplines come together. Fire safety, noise control, thermal considerations and ventilation must all be technically aligned. In a recent project, we supplied car park ventilation fans where performance and safety were key — without overlooking the visual integration into the overall design.

Ventilation as a critical safety component

Car parks are prone to increased concentrations of exhaust gases such as CO and LPG. A properly engineered car park ventilation system is therefore essential to ensure a healthy and safe environment.

Depending on the project requirements, the system can operate as:

  • Continuous mechanical ventilation

  • Demand-controlled ventilation based on CO / LPG detection

In demand-controlled systems, the fans are automatically activated when preset threshold values are exceeded or when ventilation is required. This ensures safety while optimizing energy consumption.

Smoke control in case of fire

In the event of a fire, ventilation becomes a crucial part of the smoke control strategy. When smoke is detected, the control system automatically activates the fans at the affected level.

This ensures:

  • Safe evacuation of occupants

  • Continued access for emergency services up to the fire source

  • Reduced structural damage due to the cooling effect of high airflow volumes

A properly selected car park ventilation fan therefore directly contributes to life safety and damage limitation.

Performance and aesthetics: a perfect colour match

Besides technical performance, visual integration is increasingly important — especially in new-build projects where architecture and building services engineering are closely coordinated.

To ensure seamless integration, our car park ventilation fans are available in any required RAL colour. This allows the installation to blend perfectly into the overall architectural design while maintaining full technical performance.

Because in modern car park projects, both engineering and appearance matter.
