Description
Centrifugal box fan with forward-curved blades – for high temperatures and smoke and heat exhaust applications
This indirectly driven centrifugal box fan is specially designed for applications where reliable air movement under high-temperature conditions is required. The forward-curved blades make the fan ideal for medium pressure and relatively low airspeed applications, while the indirect drive protects the motor from heat exposure.
The fan is suitable for continuous operation at temperatures up to 200°C (S1) and for 400°C for 120 minutes (S2), in compliance with smoke and heat exhaust standards according to EN 12101-3. This makes it an excellent choice for integration into certified smoke and heat exhaust systems.
Technical specifications:
- Sizes: from 250 to 500 mm
- Capacity: up to 35,000 m³/h
- Pressure: up to 1,800 Pa
- Motor: standard motor IP55 (mounted outside the airflow)
- Control: frequency inverter (VFD) compatible
- Options:
- Smoke and heat exhaust version according to EN 12101-3
- Designed for continuous operation up to 200°C and 400°C for 120 minutes
- Indirect drive (motor positioned outside the airflow)
- Wide range of accessories available, such as isolators, flanges, and silencers
Applications:
- Smoke and heat exhaust systems
- Industrial ventilation in high-temperature environments
